The History of Fashion GPS®
Fashion GPS® was founded in 2006 in New York City. While working for a leading fashion PR firm, founder Eddie Mullon observed an industry relying on archaic, unnecessarily time-consuming methods and from this he created a sample tracking system to manage the workflow between publicists and publications. At the time, the industry was managing their sample closet with a paper filing system.
Once he realized that users loved the product, he decided to build a company focused on creating efficiencies through technology, aiming to simplify complex processes for the fashion, luxury, and cosmetics industries.

Fashion GPS® Software
In a short time, the Fashion GPS® software platform became the industry standard for event management, sample inventory tracking (GPS SAMPLES®), data asset and business records management. Following the success of Fashion GPS® in the fashion space for event management and ticketing management, the company created an offer to bring GPS EVENTS® to the world of hospitality, entertainment and more.
GPS Radar® – the company created additionally a non-downloadable software offer (GPS Radar®) for: digital asset management, inventory control and the creation and management of webpages on which content in the form of galleries, articles, and press releases in the fashion, luxury, and cosmetics industries are used for business management, event management, public relations, and marketing and promotional purposes.
Fashion GPS® Today
The Fashion GPS® software platform, now the Launchmetrics Brand Performance Cloud, allows brands to manage their assets (both physical and digital) with ease and efficiency – bringing rich insights to clients on all the operational activities associated with their samples including press requests, sample request and borrowing history, editorial coverage of the samples request, sample credit requests and credit requests history as well as successful press hits and the history associated with press hits and coverage for these assets.
